My name is Charlie Davis (or Chaz, among my friends), and I work for a large financial data company in Manhattan. As Director of Data Management, I support our business of hosting 2,500 customer Investor Relations web sites, hundreds of Corporate Communications multimedia webcasts each month, datafeeds and content delivery to Investment Banks and Wealth Management firms, as well as web-based and mobile-based applications for our financial desktop platforms for advisory clients large and small.

Why did I create this site?

I developed this site mainly because I love online video and multimedia whether its via mobile, tablet, or desktop solutions.  I will cover anything on my mind from consumer to business and enterprise multimedia.  One of the highlights of this site is around OVP reviews.  I became interested in the Online Video Platform market last year and noticed that there weren’t many detailed reviews, so I have posted my own under the “Test Drive” category.  With over 90 OVPs out there today, I am slowly but surely working on checking them out and speaking with the vendors to expose the good things these platforms have to offer.  The result you will find here is unbiased and detailed accounts of different OVPs in action to help readers find the best platform for his or her needs.  I am also a guest writer for Vidcompare.com so you can find my reviews under the blog section of the site.
